Easter

This year we celebrated our first Easter in Seattle. On Saturday it was sunny and on Easter Sunday it was a little raining, but that is the weather here in Seattle. In the morning the kids went down stairs to find their Easter baskets on the table. Max was so excited on what he found. Then after we went to church, we went over to Granddad's and Mimi's house for a late brunch. We had lots of deliciuos food of course and then after we ate we had an Easter egg hunt while it wasn't raining. Max had a lot of fun finding all the eggs especially because he was the only kid this year, but next year he will have Skye, Chloe, and baby joining in on all the fun. Thanks for everyone for making it a special and fun Easter for Max.

I made the mistake of leaving Max downstairs with his Easter basket while I was getting ready for church. I found him with everything out of his basket, candy everywhere, chocolate unwrapped and his mouth full.

Coloring Easter Eggs

This past Saturday was the perfect day. It was so sunny in Seattle and warm from what it has been. It was the first day that I wore a short sleeve shirt this session and it felt so good. In the afternoon we went to the park to an Easter egg hunt and eat some food with our ward. It was a lot of fun especially because it was so nice outside. Max had so much finding all the eggs. After the park we went to Granddad and Mimi's house to color Easter eggs. Of course Max had a blast especially because we colored outside so we good enjoy the sun.

Max loves the dogs that Granddad and Mimi have. He loves to throw the ball, chase them with his cars, take them for walks and feed them.

Max was helping Mimi push all the water on the pool cover to one spot. He was such a good helper.

Docotr Visits

Last week I took both kids to the doctors. Max finally had his 2 year old check up and Chloe had her 9 month check up. Both kids are doing great.
Max weighs 27 pounds and is healthy. The doctors does say that we need to cut down on his juice. We do fill up his cup mostly with water and just a little bit of juice, but apparently he should only have around 3 diapers. Right now I change his diaper about every 3 hours. So this means if I ever want to potty train him he needs to stop drinking so much. The doctor said every time he ask for juice I need to first give him some food to see if that helps. So that is what I am doing and hopefully it will work. I am hoping by the end of summer no more diapers.

Now, Chloe is 14 pounds. She is doing great, but the doctor is really worried about her weight. She is below the charts and only gained 1 pound in the last 3 months. We are going in a month for a weight check and until then I am suppose to feed her lots and lots of food. Apparently, Chloe is still nursing too much and not eating enough solid foods. The doctor told me that she should really only nurse about 3 times, but right now she nurses about 5 times during the day and 4 times at night. We are hoping if I feed her more solid foods then maybe she will sleep better because I am so tired of getting up about every 3hours during the night.

Part 2 with Babs

Here are some more pictures taken while my mom was here. Sorry for the delay. Besides seeing the tulips, we went to the park, zoo, beach and even did some shopping. I love when people come to visit because it is a time for us to do some fun things.

It is not a ca beach, but its a good one for Seattle

Grammy Babs

This last week, my mom came for a visit. It was a lot of fun to have her here and Max had so much fun with Babs. On Saturday, we decided to drive up to the tulip festival with my mom and Kim and Adil. It opened up the day before, but it was still early to see all the flowers. We still walked around and Max had so much fun. I couldn't believe how much energy he had. He would run around, splash in all the water, and roll around on the wet grass. Even though we didn't see that many flowers it was a great day trip because had so much fun.
