Pumpkin Patch

On Friday, we decided to do a little family outing to a Pumpkin Patch where they had a petting zoo, bounce house, a train, corn maze, and other little fun things to do. Max had so much fun there. There was so much for him to do.

He was not afraid of any of the animals. He had so much fun petting all the horses, chicken, goats, and cows.

Max loved the bounce house. He would jump, fall and laugh. It was really fun to watch him because he just had the biggest smile on his face.

This was the little train that Max and Paul went on. After Max rode the train he kept trying to chase it whenever he saw it because he wanted to ride it again and again.

Max's first corn maze

The corn maze was suppose to take 45 minutes, but Max got a little tired while we were in the maze

A big corn box. Max didn't know what to think of it, but then he saw other kids playing in it so then he decided to go for it.

We can never get him to smile for a picture
Chloe did great. She slept the whole time in the baby bjorn until the very end.

It was a great day at the farm. It was nice to do something fun as a family and it was so much fun seeing Max so happy

Update on Max

I can't believe how fast Max is growing up. He is getting so big now. I can't believe that he will be 2 in January. I still remember him when he was Chloe's age and learning how to roll over, but now he is a big boy. He is saying a lot more words now. My favorite thing he says now is "help please." Another thing that I love that he does is whenever he wants something he will grab one of our hands and pull us over to whatever he wants. Another cute thing he does is in the mornings when he wakes up he says "walk" because most mornings we always go for a walk for some exercise and then play at the park by our house. But these last couple of weeks we haven't gone because I don't have a double stroller at the moment so Max has been very very sad when I tell him we are not going for a walk today. I have been trying to make it up to him by going to the park that has lots of playgrounds for him to play on and a dog park which he loves. I am so blessed to have Max in my life. Even though at times he can do things that make me very mad, I love him with all my heart. He loves wearing his hat just like his daddy. Whenever Paul wears a hat, Max has to wear one also.

For the last couple of days Max has gotten into Blue's Clues. The movie that we have is all about the ABCs. One of the episodes, Blue reads the book "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom." Whenever that episode comes on Max goes to his room to find that book. I think I have only read that book once or twice to him, but he knows it so well and recognizes that book when Blue reads it in the movie. My child is so smart.

Rolling Over

My little girls has learned to roll over. Chloe rolled over for the first time right before she was 3 months old. Things have defiantly changed since she can roll over now. Now we can't put her on the couch, she spits up a lot more and she cries a lot more. She hasn't really discovered how to roll back onto her back once she is on her stomach. So at night she will roll over to her stomach and gets frustrated that she can't get back on to her back. Here are some pictures of her rolling over for the first time. I didn't get her in action, but she did roll over.
I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She can roll over, she can hold her head up pretty well, she laughs, holds on to toys and only wakes up once or twice in the night to eat. She is such a great baby. I am so blessed to have her in my life.

Poop

For the last month or so, we have been dealing with poop. I have one child who is a pooping machine and then the other child who will never poop. Chloe is the one who will never poop. The first month she pooped great, but then after that she will go 3 or more weeks without pooping. And when she finally does poop it is very small like a dime size. I took her to the doctors even though we don't have health insurance for her and the doctor said she is fine. She is now 11 pounds which the doctor was happy about. When we get insurance in January, my doctor wants us to see a specialist just to make sure everything is ok.
Now for Max, the pooping machine. Max poops everyday and he has never discovered his poop. He has learned to reach inside his diaper and rub it all over his body, all over his walls, and toys. I think he has probably done this at least 20 times or even more. So we are cutting down on his juice, so maybe his poop won't be so liquidy and he always has to wear pants when he goes to bed. He hasn't discovered how to pull down his pants yet, so putting him in pants has saved me but as soon as he learns to pull his pants off, I am dead. Here are some pictures of him with poop all over because I know everyone wants to see pictures of this. By the way I took these probably a month ago when he just started to these are not even bad at all. Now he has learn to put it in his hair, mouth and basically all over so he is covered in poop from head to toe.
