Chloe 5 months

This past Sunday, Chloe turned 5 months old. I can't believe that she is 5 months already. It has gone by way to fast. Why can't they just stay in that newborn stage forever or at least for a long time. Anyways, she has gotten so big. She rolls all over the place, loves to talk in her own little language, loves to laugh, loves loves her big brother, only wakes up once in the middle of the night, and she is just a great baby. The only time that she really cries is when she is hungry and tired. She is such an easy baby. She can entertain herself which is a great blessing especially because I have Max running around like a crazy man. Here are some pictures of Chloe.

She is so cute. I love her smile.

Max loves to read to Chloe and Chloe loves it.

Gingerbread house

This past weekend, we decorated our gingerbread house. Every year I get a gingerbread kit from Costco because there is no way I will ever make one from scratch. This year was a lot of fun because Max was there to help. He put on all the candy while I frosted. By the end of decorating, half of the candy was gone and Max had frosting all over his hands and face. I love that Max is a little bit older now to help celebrate with us. Everything is always a lot more fun when you have kids to celebrate with.Max dancing to the Christmas music while eating the candy

Every picture that we took of him, he had something in his mouth. He loved the gummies.

Chloe didn't have fun decorating. All she wanted to do was go to bed.

The finish house.

Max loved the frosting especially the green one.

Max Time

I felt like I needed to post about Max because he has been doing some very cute things lately and I have some cute pictures of him. He is getting so big. He is starting to say a lot more words now and understanding more of what we say. He is getting better at catching a ball, doing very well at being a big brother, sleeping in his bed at night and not on the floor. A new thing that he loves to do now is cook with me. Whenever I am getting dinner together, he will pull a chair up and start to help. He his such a good little helper. He still loves his blankets and carries all 5 of them around the house. He also still loves his juice and will not drink anything else except juice, not even milk. The best part is that Max stopped playing with his poop. No more rubbing poop all over his toys, walls and himself. Anyways, here are some pictures of our little guy.
Max loves to play and help with Chloe and she loves her big brother. We have been very lucky because so far Max has been very good to her.

Max loves to play with our itouch and he knows how to play the games that are on it. His favorite game is "Peekaboo Barn." He touches on the barn and animal comes on and makes a sound. I think that is how he learned all the different animal sounds.

I decorated for Christmas over the weekend and got out the singing snowman and of course Max loves these. He played them over and over again while dancing around the house.

There matching Christmas pj's.

Whenever Paul has whipping cream on his hot chocolate, Max gets some too.

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving, we decided to spend it in Danville. It was a lot of fun to see everyone especially Jason and Ali. It has been almost a year since we saw them last. While we were there we went to the zoo, spent time at Ben and Barbie's new house, went shopping and relaxed. It was so good to see everyone and spend time with the family. Thanks for everything and for the wonderful Thanksgiving.Max had so much fun playing with dog. We really need to get him one.

Chloe and Ali at the Zoo on a very very cold day

I was trying to get all the kids to look at me and smile, but of course that is impossible.

Everyone on the train

Max and Ali had so much fun playing together especially when they discovered jumping on the bed.

Grammy Babs with Carter and Chloe

I love this picture with Hailey smiling and Max with a big smile in the background

Best picture of all the cousins except Chloe, Sky and Gabe of course

Max's Thanksgiving dinner

We were at the mall and there was no line to see Santa so we decided to see him. We will go again when they are all dress up and so we can actually see Chloe's face. I was only allowed to take one picture of the kids even though no one was waiting in line. Oh well, next time we will get a better one.

Halloween Time

I thought that Halloween was not going to be that much fun because it was on a Sunday, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. This year Max was a Dalmation dog because he loves dogs and Chloe was a Broncos Cheerleader because it was a free costume from one of my friends. On Friday we went to our ward party where we ate, played games and went trunk or treating. The Bronco Cheerleader

The Dalmation

I love this picture

Getting candy at the trunk or treat

Then on Saturday we went to the Goodyear Ballpark where they had a big Halloween party. It was just ok because the rides were more for older kids and there was a very long wait just to get on a ride. But Max had so much fun playing with his friends, running and rolling around on the grass. I have never seen him with so much energy until that night. It was so funny to watch.
On the ground being a dog. Some lady actually thought he was a real dog when he was crawling around on the ground.

Having lots of fun playing with his friends

Pumpkin Patch

On Friday, we decided to do a little family outing to a Pumpkin Patch where they had a petting zoo, bounce house, a train, corn maze, and other little fun things to do. Max had so much fun there. There was so much for him to do.

He was not afraid of any of the animals. He had so much fun petting all the horses, chicken, goats, and cows.

Max loved the bounce house. He would jump, fall and laugh. It was really fun to watch him because he just had the biggest smile on his face.

This was the little train that Max and Paul went on. After Max rode the train he kept trying to chase it whenever he saw it because he wanted to ride it again and again.

Max's first corn maze

The corn maze was suppose to take 45 minutes, but Max got a little tired while we were in the maze

A big corn box. Max didn't know what to think of it, but then he saw other kids playing in it so then he decided to go for it.

We can never get him to smile for a picture
Chloe did great. She slept the whole time in the baby bjorn until the very end.

It was a great day at the farm. It was nice to do something fun as a family and it was so much fun seeing Max so happy

Update on Max

I can't believe how fast Max is growing up. He is getting so big now. I can't believe that he will be 2 in January. I still remember him when he was Chloe's age and learning how to roll over, but now he is a big boy. He is saying a lot more words now. My favorite thing he says now is "help please." Another thing that I love that he does is whenever he wants something he will grab one of our hands and pull us over to whatever he wants. Another cute thing he does is in the mornings when he wakes up he says "walk" because most mornings we always go for a walk for some exercise and then play at the park by our house. But these last couple of weeks we haven't gone because I don't have a double stroller at the moment so Max has been very very sad when I tell him we are not going for a walk today. I have been trying to make it up to him by going to the park that has lots of playgrounds for him to play on and a dog park which he loves. I am so blessed to have Max in my life. Even though at times he can do things that make me very mad, I love him with all my heart. He loves wearing his hat just like his daddy. Whenever Paul wears a hat, Max has to wear one also.

For the last couple of days Max has gotten into Blue's Clues. The movie that we have is all about the ABCs. One of the episodes, Blue reads the book "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom." Whenever that episode comes on Max goes to his room to find that book. I think I have only read that book once or twice to him, but he knows it so well and recognizes that book when Blue reads it in the movie. My child is so smart.
