Chloe's baby blessing weekend

This past weekend we went to Danville. Paul's cousin got married on Saturday, so we decided to bless Chloe on Sunday in my home ward so both sides of the family could be there. We did the 11 hour drive from Az to Danville with 2 kids. The kids actually did great. Max watched movies the whole time and Chloe slept. We only stopped once and that was for lunch so all in all, it took about 12 hours.
We arrived in Danville Thursday night. On Friday we went to San Francisco and it was the perfect day. It was sunny and warm and no clouds in the sky. It was so nice to walk around in the sunshine by the water. Max got to see the seals, ride the marry-go-round and play in the sand. It was the perfect day.

Max kept chasing the birds all over.

He had so much funny running on the beach and playing with the dogs. He kept running with them and falling straight into the sand, but he didn't care. It was the best time of his life.

Then Saturday we drove up to Auburn for the wedding. The wedding was at a Bed and Breakfast and it was so pretty. It was surrounded with trees and it was the perfect weather for an outdoor wedding.

Then on Sunday we blessed Chloe and then we drove to Rancho which is about 6 hours and spent the night there. Then on Monday we woke up and drove another 5 hours until we were finally home. It was a very short weekend, but also a lot of fun. Thank you for everyone that came to Chloe's blessing. It was so could to see and spend time with everyone. Max had a lot of fun playing with his cousins and all the dogs that he came across.

I am very blessed and so lucky to have such a wonderful husband and 2 wonderful children.

Chloe and stupid health insurance

Chloe had her 1st month check up about a week ago and she is doing great. She now weighs 9 pounds which is very good news because she dropped all the way down to 6 pounds. She is still a little Jaundice so I am trying to make sure she gets sun light every day. She is now sleeping in her crib and only waking up twice during the night to eat. Chloe is such a great baby. The only time she cries is when she is hungry, has pooped or when she is tired. She is now starting to smile and it is very cute. She always smiles whenever Max talks to her. She loves hearing is voice. It is very cute to watch.
Anyways, Chloe is doing great. I am very excited when the doctor told me that everything looked great because the next doctor's appointment will not be until January. Chloe will not be added to our insurance until January because we didn't call our insurance within the first 30 days to had her. We have tried to do everything possible to add her, but nothing has worked. How can they not cover a newborn? I hate insurance companies. Why do they have that stupid rule. Why can't they automatically put her onto our insurance?
So to any new parents: Make sure you add your newborn to your insurance within the first 30 days. And don't think because you got an insurance card for your newborn that they are covered. They are covered for the first 30 days and then after that they are not until you call. That is what happened to us. Anyways enough with that, her are some recent pictures of the kids.

Whenever we go outside to play, Chloe is in the bouncer and she loves it

I wish we had a real pool, but I guess this will have to do

I love her little smile.
