Max turns 2

Happy Birthday Max. On Monday the 10th, Max turned 2 years old. I can't believe that I have a 2 year old. Where has the time gone. I still think of him as my little baby, but now he is a big boy. He is 2 now. That is just so crazy to me. Well, on Sunday we decided to celebrate his b-day at my dad's and I am so glad that we did because on Monday he got very sick. Anyways, it was so nice because I did not have to do a single thing for max's b-day. My sisters did everything. They got all the decorations, the food, the cake and they decorated the house. It was a perfect little party. Max had so much fun being in the spot light, making is own pizza, eating cake and getting presents. Thank you all for taking care of his b-day party. It was a perfect party.

New Years in Rancho

After we got back from Seattle, we decided to drive to Rancho and see Paul's family for New Years. It was a lot of fun to see everyone, but also a little weird not to have Paul's parents there. They were missed very much. On New Years we played games, ate and hung out with everyone. Paul was a little mad that he couldn't play soccer with everyone, but he hurt his back really bad when we had to move some things, but hopefully next time he will be able to play. Christmas in Seattle

This year we decided to spend Christmas in Seattle. It was a lot of fun to be with everyone and for Max to spend time with his cousins. Everyone was there except Jason who we all missed very much. Even though it was very crowed in the house with 12 adults, 5 kids and 4 dogs it was very fun just to be with everyone. While we were there we did some shopping, saw the famous gingerbread houses, saw the wonderful lights at the botanical gardens, went to the park, ate food, hung out and ate some more food. Even though vacation can be very tiring, I am so glad that we made the trip out. I love spending time with family.

Before we went to Seattle for Christmas, we decided to celebrate Christmas with our little family before we left. There was no way I was going to bring all of the kid's toys to Seattle so they could open them Christmas morning. So the Sunday before Christmas we woke up nice and early and had Max go to the Christmas tree. I think he was a little confuse when he saw all the presents, but as soon as he start opening them and realizing that all the weird boxes are toys he had a blast ripping all the paper off the boxes. It was a perfect little Christmas for our little family. Max got a lot of new toys and clothes, but his favorite present was some new cars. Chloe got clothes and some new toys as well.

Chloe 5 months

This past Sunday, Chloe turned 5 months old. I can't believe that she is 5 months already. It has gone by way to fast. Why can't they just stay in that newborn stage forever or at least for a long time. Anyways, she has gotten so big. She rolls all over the place, loves to talk in her own little language, loves to laugh, loves loves her big brother, only wakes up once in the middle of the night, and she is just a great baby. The only time that she really cries is when she is hungry and tired. She is such an easy baby. She can entertain herself which is a great blessing especially because I have Max running around like a crazy man. Here are some pictures of Chloe.

Gingerbread house

This past weekend, we decorated our gingerbread house. Every year I get a gingerbread kit from Costco because there is no way I will ever make one from scratch. This year was a lot of fun because Max was there to help. He put on all the candy while I frosted. By the end of decorating, half of the candy was gone and Max had frosting all over his hands and face. I love that Max is a little bit older now to help celebrate with us. Everything is always a lot more fun when you have kids to celebrate with.Max dancing to the Christmas music while eating the candy

Max Time

I felt like I needed to post about Max because he has been doing some very cute things lately and I have some cute pictures of him. He is getting so big. He is starting to say a lot more words now and understanding more of what we say. He is getting better at catching a ball, doing very well at being a big brother, sleeping in his bed at night and not on the floor. A new thing that he loves to do now is cook with me. Whenever I am getting dinner together, he will pull a chair up and start to help. He his such a good little helper. He still loves his blankets and carries all 5 of them around the house. He also still loves his juice and will not drink anything else except juice, not even milk. The best part is that Max stopped playing with his poop. No more rubbing poop all over his toys, walls and himself. Anyways, here are some pictures of our little guy.

Max loves to play and help with Chloe and she loves her big brother. We have been very lucky because so far Max has been very good to her.

Max loves to play with our itouch and he knows how to play the games that are on it. His favorite game is "Peekaboo Barn." He touches on the barn and animal comes on and makes a sound. I think that is how he learned all the different animal sounds.

I decorated for Christmas over the weekend and got out the singing snowman and of course Max loves these. He played them over and over again while dancing around the house.
